Noodlings, my new blog, is as much for me as it is for you. I’m the kind of person who learns by scribbling, who sometimes doesn’t even understand what’s in front of her unless she has pencil in hand and can try to work it out on a page. I hope that each post finds a different way to intrigue and shake up our imaginations, yours and mine.
I have all kinds of posts in mind. With Noodlings, I hope to share those things that I’m pondering, learning, and experiencing with my own hooking. I may simply offer up a completed rug for your consideration, discuss a problem area of a rug and how it was resolved, or introduce you to someone whose hooking interests me. A Noodlings post might even teach a little lesson or offer a tip. At some point, I’ll definitely show you my favorite place to hook, a little cabin on a big lake. I hope you’ll come along with me to classes, the ones I take and the ones I teach, and retreats, and hook ins, and other places that can feed our practice. In any case, there will be delicious photos of gorgeous wool, interesting rugs, friendly hookers, and pretty places to illustrate every post.
Whenever a new Noodlings post is ready for you, you’ll receive an email. Be sure to join the mailing list to receive a couple posts per month. Let’s grow together in the fiber art we love!
