Founded by author and fiber artist Tamara Pavich, Indigo Hookery offers collaboration, workshops, and custom pattern design for rug hookers who want to create meaningful, original work rooted in authenticity.

Design Focused Rug Hooking Instruction

Tamara’s rug hooking workshops are offered to guilds and fiber art groups across the U.S. Each class is built around artistic mentorship, original design, and personal creativity.  Hooked portraits of many kinds, landscape rugs, art adaptations, and abstract designs:  whatever type of rug you choose, you’ll be guided through the process of bringing your ideas to life in wool.

With a PhD in English and years of experience teaching creative writing and rug hooking, she brings a unique blend of narrative thinking and artistic exploration to her work.
